The Schoolwide Fundamentals blog space is meant to facilitate conversation between educators across the country. Imagine our space as a virtual workshop community for sharing and structuring ideas about learning. Our mission is not only to support the fundamentals of reading and writing so essential to academic success but also to make blogging easy and interactive for teachers unacquainted with today's social technologies. By equipping our teachers with the newest and most powerful communication tools, we hope to give them a louder voice for expressing their passions and concerns about teaching that they can bring back to their many classrooms nationwide.
