Summer Reading Month: Reading Aloud With Alan Katz

This month we'll be focusing on summer reading and, more importantly, reading aloud to students. Keeping students--and teachers--reading during the summer months is an important activity for keeping all of our scholastic endeavors on track. To celebrate our summer reading series we have lined up some very special bloggers including Alan Katz.

This month's topics will include:

Why is reading aloud important? (particularly to young children)

Why is reading aloud to your children important over the summer when school is not in session?

What does the research say?

Tips & techniques for reading aloud to children.

Recommended books  and book reviews.

What are our favorite books for reading aloud and why?

As always, we'd love to hear your comments and questions. Feel free to contact us at any time.
